This was a quilt that was gifted to a friend as a going away present. As a fellow horse lover, I knew this pattern would be perfect. I used a pattern for the center block that I found online called "Best Friends" by Mad Creek Designs. You can find the pattern HERE. I added size to the quilt by adding several solid and strip pieced borders. The quilt was long arm quilted with an all-over horse pattern by my friends at Sweet On Stitches.
